Friday nights are becoming a regular training time again on the range, with Matt, Mark, Paul, Ray and Ashling training away between 1800h and 2200h. The start of the revival of the club perhaps?
Very low numbers at the match this weekend because of the short notice; but a nice high standard nonetheless. Congratulations to Ray Kane of the DFST who won the air rifle event and to Caroline O'Brien of RRPC who won the air pistol event.

John and Mark were tied after the shoot; both had the same inner ten count; the tie was finally split on countback, with John's 6th series of 88 beating Mark's 86.
No photos after the match unfortunately, as the camera had... a small whoopsie :D

The club tidy-up was a grand success. Lots of brushing and sweeping and hoovering and mopping and wiping and washing and tidying and dumping and hauling and moving and a lot of other verbs as well.
But now the club is neat, tidy, clean, smelling vaugely of a mix of bleach and dettol, has considerably fewer spiders and considerably less rubbish and considerably more working lightbulbs, and it’s the cleanest I’ve ever actually seen it in the seven or eight years I’ve been a member.
Thanks Mark, Colm, Pat, Geraldine, Richard, Geoff, Jim, Marina, Paul and Laura. Job well done.
From now on, and especially at the end of the training sessions, it's expected that all club members will tidy up after themselves and leave the range in the pristine state they found it in. Failure to do so will result in one of us going through you like a dose of salts.
Hi all, Very short notice on this one, but as per the NTSA calendar, the WTSC airgun shoot is this weekend. Since the WTSC range is currently midway between all-paper and all-electronic targets, and we've not yet gotten all the wiring done, UCDRC have kindly offered to help out and so the WTSC Open will be shot on the UCD range.
Three details on Sunday: 1030, 1230 and 1430. AR40, AR60 and AP60.
