Our 3rd committee meeting is set for tonight at 8.00pm. in Wilkinstown.  Two items of news first :  UCD are hosting a pre Nationals airgun event this Sunday in UCD, those of our members wishing to take part please book in with UCD.  Also the Airgun Championships are upon us again, our members wishing to compete please put the final touches to your training and prepare to make your booking.

In tonight's meeting, following the up date reports from the club's officers, (each lasting no more than 120 sec).  We will revise and discuss items that have been carried over from the last meeting referring to our facilities and the development of same.

The main focus of tonight's meeting will be to discuss  aspects of coaching and training in order to establish a consensus as to what our club's goals should be in this important area for the coming year and beyond.

I would like to see  policy decisions on number of particular items germain to tonight's topic, vis. Daily opening times for the club established and published.  A commitment from the members to volunteer to act as Range Officers during the opening times.  And a committment from our new Instructors to commence the development of their individual training plans and to make themselves available as leaders for training and coaching sessions.

In this area we should also include consideration for the continued and extended training of our new Instructors.

As always if you have ideas, comments and recommendations, please make them know to us.

I am confident that our theme for this year 'Activity and Visability' will very soon start to become apparent.

Keep in touch!
